Recently, some footage emerged online from a 1996 freestyle session at Fat Beats, where a teen-aged Kanye West can be seen laying down a few bars in with the same confidence that seems to get people all riled up (in good and bad ways) to this very day. Well, if that wasn’t enough evidence that the ‘old Kanye’ is very much the same as the ‘new Kanye’, another clip has surfaced on Youtube and it goes even further back in time. Dated from 1990 (making baby Ye almost 13 years old), the clip is in your classic grainy home video quality and sees Yeezy take front-and-centre proving that he has carried this confidence with him since childhood as he raps straight to camera, which is presumable being held by his late mother Donda.
